The war is over
So I won the battle this is my recovery day. I step forth onto the battlefield and conquer my foes. I stayed up all night planning my attack against the enemy and what they will bring for me to fight against. I was armed with pencil and paper, with calculator and books of all sorts of context. I was victorious against the mastermind Finalzilla. He did not defeat me! I came out with lack of sleep and a fried brain, but other than that, I was more happy that it was over. We lost a few people along the way, but they will recover and become strong for the next battle and the mastermind Finalzilla.
I was so close to it
I had it in my hands
My heart felt the excitement
My mind was set
All I had to do was put it into motion
Then just like the rain
It came crashing down around me
The door to my future was shut in my face
The key disintegrated before my eyes
I once again was locked away in that desert cage
Swinging on that swing whistling that same tune over and over
Once again I will have to wait for a door, a path, a way out to appear before me
My patience is dying and my anger is building
